First thing first, Gucci need hella credit for dropping 3 Christmas trap albums. I have been listening to this series and I really like these series of albums from Gwop. I really like the diversity in the sound in this project, it really shows that his ear is still and will always be to the streets. Since Gucci was released from prison a few years back, I really felt like he has grew as an artist, that and his wife. The production was dope as hell, I like the fact that he is picking beats that fit him and not trying to ride whatever wave is going on. I even appreciate the songs he had for the ladies to rock to while they are driving. The songs I really liked are "Mr. Wop", "Dirty Dancer", "More", and "M's on Ice". This is very solid album, but we all know a lot of y'all don't like post jail Gucci.

Maybe I'm to hard on this album but this was not it for me. Production is very important nowadays, and I was thinking that he was gonna follow Jim Jones and have the heatmakers make the whole album with that Flee talk, that would have been a classic. The production just was off to me and I love sampled songs but the samples was just all bad. One thing I can say is that Cam has not slipped with his story telling and his bars period because he was definitely talking that shit. A couple of songs I do like are "Toast to me", "Fast Lane" and , "Believe in Flee". This could have been a way better if he actually picked better beats without that there is no replay value.

Only the Family - Family Over Everything

I have never been a fan of Lil Durk or drill rap, but this album may have changed with this album. This project made me understand that drill scene is not really glorifying the murders and crime in Chicago, but how much pain is behind their eyes and don't know how really to channel that anger. I also thought I was gonna get tired of the auto tune sound like I have spoke out against in prior reviews but they way the album goes in between the auto tune and the regular sound of Durk voice was dope. The members in OTF can really rap, but this was really the Durk show. The shooting and drug talk is really the only subject talked about on the album, but I understand why. Some of the songs I like of this album are "Gang Forever", "Blika Blika" and, "This a story". I think I'm going have to go back and listen to more of the Chicago drill scene.

I know what you thinking, and hey it was in the new releases so he we are. Now this is my first time listening to any One Direction or Harry Styles projects, so I didn't come into this album with any expectations. I feel like this album is all over the place. I really couldn't  grasp what kind of sound Harry was going for with this project. The writing seem too poppy on some songs that its almost cringe worthy. I did manage to like "Lights Up", "Falling" and, "She". Harry really gotta find some new writers and stick to a sound that fits and suites him. I wont be listening to this album, I would rather listen to Smokepurpp album again.

I was trying so hard to be petty and not give this album a 5 FALMES to the point I said all they need is a sexy woman saying their name on a track, and guess what Jack...they do. This is my type of album front to back. Musically you know its going to be a dope album, because they are actually a band. Every feature on this album was perfect and sonically every song was placed correctly. Anderson. Pakk really cheated with feature with his band, I swear I rewind that song every time it comes on. The variety in the subject matter is very diverse, so I really didn't feel stuck in a mood for too long. I also like the fact that the band itself got to shine on a lot of the songs and had their on solo joint. The rap features from J.I.D, T.I, Mac Miller and, Conway & Westside Gunn took it over the top for me. Play this joint front to back for the kickback your going to have after you spring clean your house in December.

This is house warming music at its finest, and I like it. I found out about KAYTRANADA on YouTube from various clips of his remix of Teedra Moses song “Be your girl” so I had to do my research on him. I definitely hear the growth and the diversity in the beginning of this album with his production since KAYTRANADA is a producer/DJ. Now towards the middle of the album is where he gets in his normal house/techno bag which had me dancing like a drunk white boy in club on St. Patrick’s Day. I like the features on this project especially SiR and Estelle songs, but I would like to hear some American rappers on some his songs. This is another album when I’m not gonna give you some vibes I was moving to, cuz honestly I can play this all day while I’m cleaning my house or something like that, shit as I’m writing this review I’m at work walking with my phlebotomy cart doing my best private bop. Spring clean to this in December.

I really had to turn this album off a few times because honestly, the addict talk wasn't hitting after hearing about Juice Wrld. The crazy thing is that Smoke actually says in a song that he is addicted to lean or maybe it was percs, I heard that and was instantly sad. I do hear a good delivery in a lot of songs on this album, but the subject matter voids that out. I'm not saying that he gotta get deep deep, but you do have other things to talk about since coming into the game besides same shit everyone does.  The production was dope as hell and that's upsetting because somebody could have really killed some of those beats. This is another album with a lot of auto tune but he does rap too and I do respect that, unlike what Roddy Rich did. I need more from these new rappers, shit some of them not really new like, its not they first year or project, so step it up young man. Some songs I did vibe with tho was All for me, Fill up the room (Ty Dolla been killing features all year) and, Reckless. Overall its not for me

french  montana - montana

Listening to this French Montana album I took one thing away from it, I don't ever wanna hear French trying to talk deep on a song. The few songs when he did try to get deep it sound like he sounded uncomfortable doing it. The 2nd half the album is where the French we all love come out. I was really happy to see he had a song with Max B and Chinx Drugs and the song is definitely a slapper. French also put a lot of old songs on this album but how they place it, sound like it should place there anyway. The production is dope and to be honest I like the little section on the album when he hopped on his island vibe. Take all the serious songs of the album and you definitely have a way better album, but none the less I do like this album more then I thought I would. Alright so don't look at me crazy but the songs I liked where "Coke Wave Boys", "Wanna Be", "Hoop" and, all the old songs....sorry. Side note Logic easily had the worst verse of the year on "Twisted"

Fat joe & Dre - family ties

Nobody is gonna sit here and tell me that this is not a Dre album, and he asked Fat Joe to be apart of it. Now that I got that out the way, I really like the production on this album. The first time I heard this album I was ironically in the car with my family, but now that I got it in my headphones the sound is most definitely better. I really didn't care for Dre on the whole project his flow so mothafucking lazy it bothers me. Fat Joe did what he normally does, flows with the beat accordingly. Listening to this album I don't believe this is Fat Joe last album, I know he got one banger to go out with. I wanna talk about two songs that I felt a way about. The first song is heaven or hell, why did they try to do the Jada and Styles P flow and fail miserably. The second song is Lord Above, this song is super cold but why is Eminem still talking about Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey? I'm tired of that whole thing, we gotta stop giving Em credit for the antics to get another buzz. I liked "Hands on you", "Drive" and, "Lord Above". Good Project

coldplay - everyday life

This could be the most diverse album of the year of 2019. Coldplay took me some places with this album, I really don't know how to feel. I real felt like I was going to look for my dad, fight for black lives or, I was going to go to church listening to this album, but as you know I like to feel the artist vibe when listening to album. One thing I did have to do with this album is take a week of from that first listen, because fam of the first listen I was ready to sing hella praises. I'm my opinion, Everyday life did have a few down spots that did kind of fuck up the mode for the project when it was picking up, but like I said its diverse album. The tracks I couldn't stop playing is "Trouble in town", "BroKen", "Arabesque" and," cry cry cry". But in all seriousness this album will make you feel inspired and the instrumentation is pretty dope threw out the whole album.
