Iight this Chixtape 5 hitting different cuz the neighbor was outside the car getting her bop on. Besides the bop that comes with the album let’s talk about the actual story. The reason why it took my so long to review this album is because I had to go bad to the first chixtape and go threw the series, in which I recommend everyone do. Chixtape 5 continues with the story of Tory still fucking with girls in the same circle something that all of us niggas tho at some point.  Away from the story, this is album is what I think every artist wants to do as far as sampling the artist and having that artist on that same track so with that he get my upmost respect. Tory pen game is super crazy which I don’t think people actually realize, he can’t most definitely write for your favorite artist and you wouldn’t know (if he hasn’t already done so). Some tracks that I really favor is blowin’ mines, The take, The Fargo Splash and luv ya girl/love sounds. My only hang up is that compare to the other chixtapes, this is longer then the previous mixtapes but hey it’s album this time around. Tory has definitely made a fan out of me with the album.

Westside Gunn - Hitler Wears Hermes 7

OK, so I'm not going to lie, I was not sold on Westside Gunn solely based of his voice, but you shouldn't judge a book by its cover right? So I took a couple days to listen to this album back to back for like 8 hours a day, and I'm here to tell you that  I'm bout to get a brick and Gucci ski mask. This album definitely gives you that 90's New York rap feel, something the game been missing since then. The Production is real soulful but slow at times. One of the first tracks to catch my attention was Kelly's Korner featuring Fat Joe, in which I think is the realest song on the album as far as the stories. The two highlight songs on the album to me are Broadway Joes and Kool G featuring Conway the Machine and Benny the Butcher and anytime you get them 3 on a track expect some fucking fire. I did feel like the flow we getting tiresome after a while like the styles could have been switched a lot more instead of Gunn staying in his comfort zone, I mean its number 7 in the HWH series. Besides the points where the production and the flow becomes repetitive and slow, I really enjoy this project and I'm probably going to go threw the whole series at some point. Ant, I hope you and them Burbs niggas ready because we bout to get the 14 keys off (Paid in Full pun intended)

emotional oranges - The Juice:Vol.2

I have never been to California, but listening to this album I definitely feel the Cali vibe. This is the second EP from the group Emotional Oranges. The first album was a little slow, so they went back to the drawing board and came up with some nice up-tempo vibes. The album starts of with two of my favorite joints "Don't be lazy" and "Just like you' which will get you threw any work day as it did for me. Another joint that makes me feel like I'm from Venice is "West Coast Love" where the group reminisce about their younger days and what was love to them. This group has the perfect mixture for an R&B group with a male and a female artist, which makes the harmonies sound fucking awesome. I also like the fact that they are not trying to overpower one another, which is why groups like this fail because someone get that solo bug and wants to show out (not saying that it wont happen but for now they good).  My only hang up about this album is that its a EP, but hey you gotta build that fan base up first.

Pardison Fontaine - under8ed

I wanted to know why he called this album UNDER8ED so I did a little research and seen that Pardi is not a new artist. Dating back to 2013 and has been behind some of Cardi and G-Eazy big hits, I can see why he would be think he is underrated. Pardison does have a gift that as of right now I think is the only rapper to perfectly execute this skill, caption rap. With this album UNDER8ED you can definitely  keep your Instagram picture caption fire. One of the coldest lines Pardi raps is, If I should die before I wake/ I pray the lord my phone to break, on the song Southside, if that's not bars then I don't know what is. Pardi is the king of one liners and found a way to make a album full of em. The only problem I have with this album is that it came out in November when it sounds like a June/July album.

Jacquees - The King Of R&B

Last year, Jacquees put out the boldest statement that any entertainer can state, that he is the KING OF R&B......for his generation. One thing he did do, is get the people to talk about R&B and who are is the kings, which something nobody has spoke about since R.Kelly nasty ass. Enter Jacquees album titled the King of R&B. One would think that this would have been a bullshit album, something just to get the people talking again, but he did the opposite and gave us really great R&B, something that is lost in 2019 with our male singers. Round II, EEeee, Risk it all and , Verify are some of the standout tracks from this album, but really you can play the whole project if you like R&B. If Jacquees can stay on this road he can definitely say he is the king of R&B, just as long as he puts out good music.

Dave East - Survival

Dave East album Survival is A Harlem story if I never heard one. In the beginning it speaks as if Dave finally made to the moment he has been waiting on his entire life, but cant but help to look back and what made him get to that moment.  This isn't your average my father wasn't there and I had to be the man of the house rap story as in explained in "I need a sign" feat Teyana Taylor and "On my way to school". As much as Dave wants to be this humbled rapper who just happy to here, he definitely shows on you on his street shit to the core with tracks like "Night Shift" and "Devil Eyes". Dave ends the album with a tribute to the late great Nipsey Hussle with the "The Marathon Continues" in which he gives a final message to the legend that he never got to say in his eyes . This is a very personal album and I like those types of projects.
