If black habits was a album that every black person should listen to, The Allegory is a album that every black person MUST listen to. Royce is really rappin and while rappin he is really kicking science with every bar he spit. The fact that he produce the joints on here is mind blowing because it sound clean and I like the use of trying different sounds. I also like the features on here like they was well thought out and not placed on there for label reasons. I do think this album is a little lengthy for my taste but I do understand he showing the producing skills just in case he want to retire from rappin but not leave rap music completely alone. This is a real hard album listen to the whole thing because you can find something relatable in every song. Last note: Fam really said “they say you are what you eat but I never ate GOAT”......man what.

Backstory time: So when this came out I seen everybody was talking it about how dope this album was but I was like ehh because I thought he was a earthy singer. I end up watching Rhythm + Flow late just because I do shit like that and I see D. Smoke. Smoke was killing every challenge and won the contest so I was hyped on what I seen, so now here I go, I gotta listen to the album and mannnn when I tell y’all this album is so cold fam whew!! Black habits is album I think every black person should hear at least once and pick up on some of that science he kicking on there. I was really amazed at on how this album sound like he a veteran and this was easy for him. The only thing I did not feel about this album is the club song and the song after that, but other then that this album go super good (see what I did there 🏾). I can’t wait to see where he goes and I hope he passed his T.D.E test.

Justin Bieber - Changes

We really watch Justin Bieber go threw every stage with music, from pre-teen bop to him being happy in love. Changes is definitely where he should have went after that last album which was a banger. This is a album I can listen to straight threw with no skips except for like the last 3 songs. I really like the production album and I like the fact that Justin found a vibe with the R&B lane and staying there unlike other white pop artist who use the sound for one album and then try to cross back over. The writing is dope as well, he not really trying to over sing shit which a lot of R&B artist in his era should learn how not to do. The only down side to this  album to me is like I said with the last 3 or 4 songs in which I think should have been put out later as like the bonus edition, because it really didn’t fit to me. As long as he stay in this lane he will always have our support, no matter what he did when he was like 12 lol. Just play the album up until changes for my favorite joints.

I have listened to this album at least four times now straight threw and I still have nothing good to say about it. This was a Wayne album we didn’t need. The production was not up to par, it really sound like he got throw away beats and put throw away songs on there. Just like the Eminem album, every feature outdid Wayne and that’s including Lil Twist (who knew). I only   liked the first two songs on the project. This was a terrible album.

I’m late to the party on Russ so I still don’t understand why people hate him much. Shake the snow globe sounds some what personal but it’s still got some somber pop songs on it. I think Russ is underrated when it come to the bars he spit, hell even when he sing a lot of people don’t give him his props. The features don’t sound out of place as far not sounding forced and the production is basic on a lot of songs but basic is sometimes needed because you still wanna be able to vibe to his lyrics. The few songs I will have in rotation is “Guess What”, “Nightmare”, and “I thought you got me”. Very solid album and I know we got a lot more to see from Russ

Eminem - Music To Be Murdered By

Well this was a unexpected album that popped up and really wasn’t something I wasn’t trying to listen to because that last two albums was underwhelming to me. Surprisingly music to murdered by was the dopest out of the three albums he dropped. I’m happy to hear Em is not as bitter as the last album because I hated hearing him talk about how nobody fuck with him no more (we don’t care). I do feel like everybody who was featured on this album killed Em on his own tracks, which use to be a hard thing to do because of the caliber of a rapper that Eminem is. I really wanna hear some substance from Eminem that’s not talking about his hate for parents or the Las Vegas shooting, that song was so unnecessary and he got stop that trying to shock and awe tactic he has been using since he first dropped. There was also a lot of fillers on this album, half of these songs could have been cut. The songs I did like was “In too deep”, “You gon’ learn”, “Godzilla” and, “Lock it up”. Final thought: I wish he would stop rapping fast, nobody got time to decipher what you was saying in 2020 but this album was still better then the last 3 he dropped

Dj Kobe - Don't Touch Me

This is how you do a project. This is DJ Kobe 3rd album and you can really hear the growth in the bars, production and song placement. This album is the new blueprint for my Pontiac artist to step outside of the local sound and branch out (in my opinion). The features on the album are well placed and nobody was lacking. The sound on this project as explained by DJ Kobe himself was him showing artist that he's not just a one dimensional artist and can do more then just make love tracks. If you haven’t listened to this project you need to listen to the whole project, just giving you a few songs to listen to won’t do it any justice. Take note my local rappers this is what you should be attempting to make.
